October 26th, 2026 by Pastor Solley1 Tim 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
KJV
I like faithful sayings. The problem with faithful sayings of men is that they do not always prove to be true. I saw a caterpillar the other day that was almost completely black so it must be a very hard winter coming. But I have not noticed many tent caterpillars so it must be a very mild winter coming. One of those sayings is wrong and only time will tell which one is right. But a faithful saying from the Bible is always true and has always been proven true. That phrase is used in the epistles the Holy Spirit gave to Paul and in those epistles alone. We see the first in our verse this morning. I proved that faithful saying to be true many years ago, have you? When Jesus came into this world He came to save me because he came to save sinners like me. Every time an individual gets saved they prove that faithful saying to be true. Praise God His Son came into the world to save a sinner like me. Can you give Him praise and thanks today for saving you? If not why not prove that saying to be true today and receive Him as your personal savior?
