Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
KJV
There are many examples of people going before the Lord making intercession for people including Abraham for the people of Sodom, Moses for the people of Israel, Ezra for the remnant, parents for children and so on. But none comes close to the comfort and peace in knowing that Jesus is making intercession for us today. When Satan accuses as he did with Job one makes intercession for us. When temptations come there is one that makes intercession for us. When overcome with sorrow and grief one makes intercession for us. When blessings abound and we tend to forget just how much we need the Lord one makes intercession for us. Nothing come close to the comfort and peace when we stop and remember that one is making intercession for us. Praise Him for He every liveth to make intercession for us.
