2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

“Who may abide the day of His coming?” That is a question all must answer. Many it could be said did abide His first coming into this world as Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost. Jesus came to offer forgiveness of sin and salvation for all through His shed blood on the cross. But did those who rejected Him, mocked Him, cried for Him to be crucified really abide His coming? They await a sure and final judgment and the Lake of Fire. What of people today? Jesus is not coming the second time in the same way He did the first, Jesus is coming as judge and only those who know Him as their personal savior will be able to abide His Second Coming. What of you today? Will you through grace and faith be able to abide His appearing? If that answer is no then come to Jesus today, confess that He is the savior of the world, God in the flesh and ask for Him and Him alone to forgive and save you. Do it today and you will abide His appearing.
