Ps 119:14-16 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

What to think about today, what will bring some delight, what will bring some rejoicing? Will it be the state of our nation, the economy, upcoming elections? Will it be doctor appointment, tests, and procedures that are upcoming? What to think about today, what to meditate upon? The Word of God is that which can bring rejoicing to the heart. Think today, meditate upon today the precious truths found in His eternal Word. Not many will do that today as they awake and reach for the smart phone or the TV remote to see what disturbing news awaits them. But to reach for the Bible, to reach for His Word first will bring some comfort, some reassurance, some peace of mind to the one who does it. I would much rather meditate upon His Word this morning than I would on what I will hear on amy of the news networks or any social media platform. Only one thing can bring delight to the soul and that is the Word of God. What did you reach for first this morning?
