October 2nd, 2026 by Pastor SolleyMatt 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
KJV
Another way to obey the command we have been looking at the last few days is to have a single eye. (Matt 6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.) What was the first thing you did when you awoke this morning, the first one you talked to, the first thing you reached for? Whatever it was, that has your heart? It should have been your Bible, you should have talked to Jesus first. Only when we have that single eye can we place all in His capable hands and then take no thiught for the morrow.
