It is always a blessed experience when one sees the young people in camp begin to meet with God. That seems to always begin at once through the preaching of the Word of God but then increase about the third day of camp when workers and campers alike have been without all the distractions of the world. No smart phones in their hands, no social media to captivate them, just the Word of God, counselors and others who are there to help them, and the very presence of God that can be felt in real way. I continue to ask for your prayers as our week winds down, that decisions being made would make a real difference in the lives of these precious young people. Many will go home to strong Christian families and many will not, but Jesus always can and does make a difference in their lives, all of them. So far no illness or serious injuries and we do thank the Lord for His protection in those areas.
