Ex 19:16-17 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
KJV
Praying that many of our campers would be moved to meet with God today. We are off to a good start with many old friendships renewed and new ones made on the first day. I remember that from my youth, seeing friends made at camp that perhaps I would see only one time each year. But from those friends I would draw strength as a youth and many times we would kneel at the altar together as the Holy Spirit worked in our hearts. I am in the ministry today in large part because of those times at camp in my youth. God did meet and continues to meet with those who will surrender and give all to Him. Campers made decisions last evening and we are praying for a great moving of the Spirit today. We continue to ask for prayers for the campers, for the staff and for many of our church family not able to be at camp because of illness and some in hospitals.
