Ex 14:19-20 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Our week of Bible camp begins today and I am asking for special prayers from God’s children. Just as Israel needed special protection from the Egyptians so do we ask for God’s special protection throughout this week. The angel of God went both before and behind that camp of Israel and we ask the Lord to surround our camp with His presence and protection. The angel of God gave light to the camp of Israel and we ask for the Light of the Word to give light to our camp this week. The angel of God kept the Egyptians in darkness and we ask the Lord to put a special hedge of protection between our camp and any who would hinder the work of the Lord. There have been many challenges leading up to this week that most look at as trials but we know our God is always in control of all things and we do ask for His perfect will to be done. I will try and give reports each day but we do ask and I ask for special prayers each and every time our camp may come to your mind.
