2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Ex 33:13-14 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Another exceeding great and precious promise is found in Ex 33:13-14 as the very presence of God will go before us, show us the way we are to go and give us rest. We will make many decisions today, some very important, some not so much, but we can always pray and ask for His leading in every decision that must be made. Give that burden of decision to Jesus and He will show you the way you are to go. (Matt 11:28-29 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.) We are promised His continual presence within. (John 14:17-20 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.) Why not then ask for His presence to guide in every decision you will make today big or small? We often lack rest because we do not seek His guidance in everything at all times.
