July 21st, 2026 by Pastor SolleyCol 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Col 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
KJV
Not long after posting yesterday the above verses, the first used yesterday in the devotional, were put to a test. An appointment that I was told could not be missed was about to be missed. An individual had called off work as they say and was not going to show up. Someone else was going to take their place but was going to be late, hours late. How to respond? Would words follow that were seasoned with grace? Would those words show Christ within and glorify Him? We all face those tests each and everyday and how we respond either lets Christ shine out so others can see the hope within the child of God or hides that glory so much that some would never even know we are born again. Who will know there is something different about you today because your speech is always filled with the grace of God and glorifies your Savior?
