Ex 17:10-12 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12 But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

So thankful today for those who will hold up the arms. I will not be able to post in the morning due to a stay in the hospital after surgery today and I am so thankful for the many of our church family who have desired to step in and hold up the arms, for those who spent a sweet and special time of prayer with their pastor last evening and for being to count them as brothers and sisters in Christ and beyond that true friends. While I am not sure the outcome of the surgery at this point one thing I am sure of is the love, concern, and prayers of God’s people and they truly hold up the arms of both me and my dear wife.
