1 John 5:13-15 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

We as born again believers in Christ can be confident that our prayers are being heard and will be answered according to the will of God. There are very few in high places that will listen to your voice, hear every word, and respond in a way that is best for you. Try getting the attention of the President or a congressman, or even a physician and have them pay attention to your needs and questions. But when I bow my head and pray to my God in the name of my Savior, I am heard and I am answered according to His will. I have that confidence and in a few moments I will once again be in prayer and know that my petitions will be heard and answered. That is confidence placed in the right place and in the right one.
