May 12th, 2026 by Pastor SolleyEx 8:8-10 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the Lord, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the Lord.
9 And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?
10 And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God.

The Pharaoh must have been one as the old saying goes that loved misery more than company as he asked for one more day of misery as the frogs covered the land of Egypt. I often wonder how many things I hold until tomorrow? We have the privilege of prayer, the invitation to pray, the promise of answered prayer as we ask for things in the name of our Lord and Savior, so many examples of prayers answered in the Bible and then in our lives as well. But then there are times when I seem to wait to pray, not wait on the Lord but to wait to pray. The request of Pharaoh was answered, the frogs were taken away by God, but I often wonder why he decided to wait until tomorrow and then remind my self that I should never do the same.
