John 9:4-5 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

We get more done by 9:00AM than most people do all day. That was a recruiting add for the Army during the eighties and it was effective. But work done is not always the benchmark of a work that will last. Work done for the Lord Jesus Christ, work done for His honor and glory, work done in the light and for the light of the world is lasting work. That old Army slogan went by the wayside and is but a memory today but the born again child of God and work done for his or her Savior will always be remembered. (Heb 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.) Serve Him today for there is coming a time when we can work no more for the light of the world in this current age.
