32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

Have you ever talked with someone and not realized to whom you were speaking and then afterward regretted not spending more time with them, listening to them, asking questions? Some years ago I was sitting in an airport, had a long delay, and an older man sat down close beside me. I was tired, felt like sleeping, closed my eyes, but it seemed the Holy Spirit was telling me to at least say hello so I did. It turns out as we were talking that he was a born again believer, a WWII vet and he was on his way to a reunion with others he has served with. That older man, humble and unassuming, was a war hero. He served with and beside Woody Williams, who was awarded the Medal of Honor during the battle of Iwo Jima. I almost missed talking to that man. But there is one greater than that we can talk to each and every day, there is one we can hear from, and one who has all the answers to every question we may have, the solution to every problem we will ever face He is always there for us. Our hearts should burn with the desire to spend more and more time with our Lord and Savior each and everyday.
