March 20th, 2026 by Pastor SolleyJohn 16:30-33 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Faith in Christ will always be tested and as Jesus asked them that question in verse 31 above a test was just around the corner. Faith in Christ will always be tested and most often by the natural things of this life and by Satan as well. But the testing of faith only makes one stronger when they look to the Lord for strength to come through the trial in front of them. (Job 23:10-12 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.) Satan was permitted to throw more things at Job that any of us will ever face today and that good man of God knew where he needed to look to come through those fiery trials and what the end of them would be. Even when Abraham came down from the mount he was made stronger in the Lord. Fath in Christ will always be tested but there is a way to pass the test, only believe and be sure that Jesus is the way to overcome the world and to find the peace that many search for today.
