November 11th, 2025 by Pastor SolleyIsa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

First snowfall of the winter will greet all who arise in this area of the world this morning and it is always something I look at with wonder. There is a logging operation taking place near our home and the landing pad for the logs is muddy and stained with oil and fuel, there are ends of the logs laying around, a skidder making deep ruts in the ground and it just looks messy. Not today, today it all looks clean and bright as the snow has covered the mud, filled in the ruts and even the skidder will be white and look new. That very same thing took place in my life when I received Jesus as my personal savior, when he forgave my sins and washed them away with His precious blood. What was scarlet has been made white and clean by the blood of the Lamb of God. What made my life a mess has now been taken away and replaced by the righteousness of Christ and the goodness of God. The change I see outside this morning reminds me of the change that takes place inside a sinner when they repent and turn to Jesus Christ. Enjoy the new fallen snow, I know I will.
