April 4th, 2025 by Pastor SolleyHeb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
KJV
I was in a restaurant recently and the service was less than it should have been. From the time we walked in and the confusion of where to sit, to the lack of service at the table, to the refilling of drinks, the service was not what it should have been. We will not be back at that place and I know the lack of our business will not hurt them at all but I was thinking about that experience and my service for the Lord. The way that I serve the Lord should give people a desire to come to the one I know. The way that I serve the Lord ought to attract others to Christ. The way that I serve the Lord ought to cause people to want what I have. The way that I serve the Lord should advance the cause of Christ. But does the way I serve the Lord do those things or does it cause others to think little of my Lord? The way we serve will bring others in or turn them away and as a servant of the living God I want to be one that draws people in. But am I that type of servant?
