How strong are you today? For all of us as we grow older our physical strength diminishes and there is nothing we can do about that. We exercise, we try and do the things we used to in order to be strong, but no matter what we do our strength is not what is used to be. But there is one who can make us stronger than ever if we just look to and depend upon Him. That strength may not be physical, but it is a better strength, and strength that refreshes and fills for it is a spiritual strength. I have often wondered about God’s man Caleb and what he said. (Josh 14:10-11 And now, behold, the Lord hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the Lord spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.) How could an 85 year old man be stronger than he was at 40 years of age? It was a spiritual strength and that was even better. How strong are you today and where are you looking to gain that strength you need for the day?
