Rom 8:15-19 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
KJV
Another reason the believer in Christ does not have to live in bondage to fear is what we are waiting for today. We are not waiting for the government to solve all the problems that same government is creating. We are not waiting for science that denies God exists to tell us what is safe and what isn’t safe. We are not waiting for a vaccinee that will keep us healthy. We are not waiting for any of those things and countless others that people base false hope upon. We are waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, we are waiting for our blessed hope, the appearance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because we know Jesus is coming again. We are waiting for the trumpet to sound and to be caught up together with Jesus is the clouds. None of us know for sure what we will may have to face in these troubling times, what freedoms might be taken away from us, what hardships may be ahead, what battles we may have to fight. But one thing we do know is that Jesus is coming again and one day soon. We have no need to fear when our hope does not depend upon this world, government or science so called. We have no need to fear because our hope is in Jesus Christ. What Christ has promised in his Word will be fulfilled because it always has been and always will be. What Christ has promised for others He will do for us today. Don’t fear dear Christian when you can look for the manifestation of the sons of God.
