Rom 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
KJV
I am sitting in front of my PC this morning which I received as a gift two years ago and I know that I have used it to less than one tenth of its ability. There are things I could do with this computer, things I could manage, operations it can preform that I never use. The reason is that I use it for what I need it for, the basics, and nothing else. What it could do in the hands of someone who would use it I can’t begin to imagine. I use that illustration to point out that we are to give all to Jesus Christ. We have looked the past two days at the believer in Christ being a bondman for the Lord Jesus Christ and then being rewarded for that. But just how much of me does Jesus want, how much of you does Jesus want? Above we can see that He wants all of us so He can use us to our full potential. Yet few will give all to Jesus Christ and for that reason we are but a fraction of what we could be for the Lord. My PC can do many more things than I use it for and it is not the fault of the computer that it is not used that way. But how many more things could we do for the Lord, could I do for the Lord, if we just gave all to Him? Unlike my PC the fault is mine when I refuse to give all to Christ.
