Ps 33:21-22
For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

What makes you happy, what makes your heart rejoice? Many different things to different people. I see people rejoicing they say over sporting events, over certain events in their lives, things they say make them happy. But that is fleeting at best. Who was the world champion twelve years ago? Not even those happy people know. But to know the Lord, to have trusted Christ, to know Him as your personal savior, that my friend brings a rejoicing that never fades away. Think this morning dear Christian of what you have gained in Christ and what you will gain one day and see if that makes you rejoice. My heart does rejoice today, and I have problems just as you do, because I have trusted in His holy name.
