Heb 12:13
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
KJV
A straight path will always be the easiest to walk, but no the easiest to make. Some things that are crooked will seem impossible to straighten out. (Eccl 1:15 That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.) However we must remember that when Solomon wrote those words it was from man’s perspective and not God’s. Solomon made a mess of his life and he tried to straighten things out, but he tried to do so without the Lord. He tried money, fame, pleasure, nothing worked, but he was trying to make things straight without the Lord. Read the last chapter of Eccl. And we find him turning to the Lord in the end and finding out the meaning of life. God can make the crooked straight and it is always easier to walk a straight path.
