Isa 1:18-20
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
KJV
Here we are with another devotional about snow just when I thought winter was over here in PA. Yet it is a good day for snow, the day after resurrection day. Easter is a reminder of what Jesus brought to us, eternal life, through His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave. I am often asked if the early church celebrated Easter or the resurrection of Christ from the grave. One thing I do know, they would not have forgotten it and even changed their day of worship because of that great event. I am reminded that my sins have been washed away and that because of Jesus Christ I am seen in Him as whiter than snow. All through this day as the snow falls I will think of salvation in Jesus Christ and thank Him for washing my sins away. I pray you can do the same.
