1 John 3:1-2
3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Is your house known as a place where God is? (Devotions from yesterday.) If so, are you then known as a child of God? One is certainly known by his or her actions. When Jesus looked at the Pharisees he called them children of Satan. Why? They had the words of religion, the clothes of religion, people saw them as religious leaders, but they lacked the actions of being children of God. They polluted the temple, they stole from the people, they demanded of others what they would not give themselves, they were not children of God. What of your actions, what are you known as? One can be from a Christian home, go to a good Bible believing church, and still not have the actions of a heart changed by Jesus Christ. When people think of you what comes to their mind? We as Christians should be known as children of God.
