Daily Devotions

Ps 76:1-4
76 In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.
2 In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
3 There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
4 Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

What are the homes around you known for? In my neighborhood I think of certain things when I think of the homes. One home I know because a truck driver lives there and the huge truck parked outside. One home I know because of the several ATV that they had. One home known for the pool outback. I wonder what people think of our home. The Bible tells us that in Judah God was known. Wouldn’t that be a wonderful testimony for your home, for my home? That when people think of our homes they think at once that God is known there, that in that home the name of God is great. You can have a home like that, I can have a home like that, but for that to be possible we need to be seen on a daily basis, on a consistent basis, walking with and serving the Lord. I only hope and pray that my home is seen by others as a place where God is, where His name is great.
