Eph 6:11-16
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

In order to stand in this day we do need to be protected. Here we find our armor for the fight of our lives. We need the truth of the Word of God, to stand and walk in His truth. That leads us to a breastplate of righteousness. That is a walk in the light of He is in the light, a walk of obedience to His Word. This righteousness in not ours, it is the Lord’s, and we can be seen in His righteousness as we walk in His truth. That walk allows us to take the gospel to the list, the fight to the enemy if you would. When we stand in His truth, when we stand righteous before Him, then and only then can we move forward. An army can never stand still, it moves forward or goes backward and that is true even more so in this spiritual battle we are in. To stand still will lead to the enemy surrounding us and eventually overrunning us, we need to move forward. Are you protected by His truth, made righteous by His truth, moving forward for the Lord.
