26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Another reason to rejoice is the promised victory we have in Christ. (Acts 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.) everyone wants to be on the winning side. Well Christian, we are on the winning side. It may seem at times in this world that Satan has the upper hand, but we need to remember his end. One day every enemy of God, every enemy of faith, every enemy of the Christian will be put down and defeated. As the song says “I’ve enlisted in the fight, for the cause of truth and right, praise the Lord I’m on the winning side.” How long till the victory? We can experience personal victory each and every day of our lives as we read our Bible, pray, seek the will and guidance of God. There is no reason we need stand defeated int his world even now, we have been promised a victory. Rejoice in that.
