26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Another reason to rejoice continually in this New Year is the ever abiding presence of our Lord. (Acts 2:25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.) The Lord is always before our face, He is always on our right hand. I am not an individual who like to be alone. Now I do like my times of solitude, like my times apart and by myself, but for the most part I don’t like to be alone, few people do. Yet when I have Jesus I never need be alone, never need feel alone. No matter my path leads in this New Year I know that my Lord will be going before me, He is before my face. That means I don’t have to wonder if He is near, I don’t have to look far for Him, He is always before my face. He is also at my right hand. That speaks of fellowship, it also speaks of one taking hold to help in times of need. Never think dear Christians that no one has walked where you walk, that no one has ever gone through what you are going through, Jesus is always there with you, always before you face, always at your right hand.
