He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

In just a few days we will begin 2018, a number I never thought we would reach in this resent dispensation. I wonder as the looks at my life over the past year what type or how much fruit He sees? In the parable the man came looking for fruit and found none. What of your life for Christ in 2017? As the Lord looks at your life, as He looks at mine, can He find fruit, was 2017 a good year for fruit. Take some time today to look back at the fruit that has been harvested. Could you say the that the Lord must be pleased with the fruit He sees? Or must you confess that He must be disappointed? I want to take the next few days and look back as well as look ahead, for today let us look back and uncover the fruit that has been found.
