Neh 2:19
19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
Neh 4:1-3
4 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.
2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
3 Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
KJV
Whatever your burden for revival, no matter the effort you put into revival, expect opposition to revival. Satan lest no work of God go unopposed, he fights and battles on every front, great or small. Nehemiah wanted to do nothing that would harm or hurt those men who opposed him, yet they stood against him, why? Because Satan will let no work of God alone, he will not let you alone dear Christian. As much as God loves you Satan hates you, as much as you matter to God you matter to Satan as well, but not in a good way. Be ready for Satan to fight against you in your desire for revival. Some may think it not worth it then to desire revival, that only means Satan is winning the fight already.
