17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

To feel the touch of Jesus, to hear the voice of Jesus, to see Jesus face to face will be a most wonderful thing. There are many things that cause fear for us in this world. Some have health concerns, some have financial concerns, some face loneliness, some have family troubles, some have children they worry over, many things cause us fear. But when we see Jesus all fear will be gone, all worries are over, we will be with Him for all eternity. Besides those words “Fear not” there are others I long to hear. Among them are “Well done thy good and faithful servant.” In the parable of the talents two who received of the Lord were able to hear those words and we should long to hear them ourselves when we stand in the presence of the Lord. They are heard I believe by those who live a life of faithfulness to the Lord and do what they can for the Lord Jesus Christ in this world. Not all are going to be missionaries, evangelist, or great preachers, but we all can be something for Jesus. I am a pastor, but all I want to do is what Jesus wants me to do, do something for Jesus. I will not be an accomplished writer, I have not and most likely will not preach before thousands, I have not brought revival to America, but have I done my best for Jesus? That is the question I will be asked at the Judgment Seat of Christ and one I pray I will be able to answer in a way that Jesus is pleased with. Are you doing your best for Jesus?
