Matt 24:12-13
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Above is a phrase found only one time in the Bible, iniquity shall abound, and in reference to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. It speaks of world conditions just before the return of the Lord and is one reason most think we are near the Second Coming. It is speaking of conditions at the end of the tribulation period, but we see that way being prepared today. At the same time we see sin ruling in this world to degrees we never thought possible it brings a ray of light to the believer in Christ. I am not happy about what is going on in America today as we have become a godless society. But I am encouraged by the truth that as we see the days grow darker and darker we get nearer and nearer the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the rapture of the church. Warm yourselves with that truth dear Christian in these days of darkness for we need not be overcome with despair.
