Daily Devotions

Acts 14:27-28 And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
28 And there they abode long time with the disciples.
KJV
Arrived home from a week long missions trip early Sunday morning, that was the reason for no devotions last week. Our group was able to spend a week in Slovenia working in a day camp for children. It was a very rewarding experience as the gospel was preached and seeds planted in young hearts. Why go on a missions trip such as the one we just completed? The call was given for help, the invitation to come received and through the leading of the Holy Spirit it was accepted. Then the monies were donated, vacation arraigned, and off we went. Was it worth it? It can never be known in this world how much was accomplished for the cause of Christ. It is the promise of God that His Word does not return void, so we need to let it in His capable hands. All any of us can do is our part, we then need to have faith knowing that God will do His. Would we do it again? That as well is in the hands of the Lord.
