Daily Devotions

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.

The Bible begins and ends with Almighty God, our job as witnesses for the Lord Jesus Christ is to introduce the lost to this one and only true God. Too many Christians are lacking in their duty. We can if we choose find someone who needs Jesus and talk to them everyday, but we often do not look for the opportunity or run away from it. I often question within myself why there is not a greater burden for those apart from Christ. Do we forget where they will spend eternity of they don’t repent and be saved? Do we have no feelings for the lost, no compassion? Are we caught up in the world and self to the point that we do not care? Does Jesus mean so little to us that we have no desire to serve Him? I wonder how many of these things apply and why we seem so lacking in telling others about Jesus. It is time to put all things like the above away, seek the face of God in prayer, and tell the lost about Jesus. We have been sent, the “Go ye” is for you and me, now we need to go.
