14 Let all your things be done with charity.

The Bible in this passage is speaking to all Christians, nut just the men, when we are challenge and encouraged to stand fast and quit like a man. The meaning is not that we quit in service for the Lord, or the spiritual battle we are in, but that we finish the fight, that we don’t stop, that we remain faithful and active to our home going or the Lord’s return. This preaching has never seen days like our days. There is so much unrest in the world, in our churches, and in the hearts of God’s people. Satan is on the attack, families are in distress, there is an all out, out right war on God and the people of God. What does the Bible command the Christian to do in the face of this attack? Stand fast and finish well. We are to stand fast in our faith. It is a faith that served Noah well, served David well, served Daniel well, served the apostles well, it is a faith that will serve us well it we are faithful. We are also to quit like men. That does mean stand like a man, be God’s man, don’t weaver and don’t quit in the fight, finish well staying faithful until we see Jesus. When David went out to face Goliath he quit like a man and God rewarded that faithfulness. He is the same God, loves us like He loved David, and He will stand by you in the trial of your faith as well. Remember, quit like a man.
