1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
KJV
This has been and remains a very difficult thing for me to wrap my mind around, that God cares for me. I believe it with all my heart, I have experienced and do experience this truth, but why would God care about me? Today there will be life and death decisions made by world rulers, doctors and surgeons will do things that change people’s lives forever, babies will be born premature, the world needs to be held together, and still He cares for me. What will I do today? My day will be spent in my study with my Bible, I will make some visits to the elderly, I will pray for needs in family and church, nothing earths shattering, still He cares for me. What I will do today will be just as important in my Savior’s eyes as the President, as any doctor, He cares for me. Think of that the next time you do not care to give Him time in devotion, time in service, time in worship, He cares for you.
