The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.
He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.

One thing we learn from this Psalm is that God is holy. Because that is no longer preach today men and women. Both saved and lost, fail to see the holiness of God. That leads to mane shortcomings spiritually. Failure to see the holiness of God can keep one from salvation, keep one from seeing salvation as they should, keep them from worship, keep them from service, keep them from many things God wants us doing. How is that possible? When we fail to see the holiness of God we lower God to our level, have God meet our standards, and think what we are or what we decide to do is acceptable to God. We must remember that God is holy, God does not meet any standard, God is the standard. Only when we know that God is holy, set apart from all sin, cannot look upon sin, and cannot overlook sin, only then can we become what God wants us to be. Our God is a holy God.
