Ezek 3:17-21 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

It is snowing here this morning, March storm, and as I watch the snow coming down I am thinking of the warnings that were put out because of this storm. People want to warn others about things like this. Our governor was on the news last evening and I heard him say “Stay home from work tomorrow”. I think of warning like this and they make me smile because I think our government and news media like to try and cause panic and unrest over things like this. Yet they are not concerned about the most important thing in life, no spiritual warning comes from them. As a Christian we do have something to sound a warning about, something to tell people that will save them eternal harm, we can warn them of judgment and hell. People need to be told the gospel, told of sin and judgment, told of Jesus and the cross, told of personal accountability before god, told that they need to repent, confess and be saved. That is something to warn people about. This winter storm will be gone in a few days, but heaven and hell are for all eternity, isn’t that a warning we should be sounding?
