Rom 8:22-23 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
2 Tim 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
KJV
All of creation is waiting for the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ according to Romans 8:22. The fulfillment of all prophecy to this point is an indication of the sure return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and there are others signs of His sure and near return as well. According to 2 Timothy 3 the last days will be marked by several things, one of them being dangerous or perilous times. This is certainly something we see today, perhaps more than at any other time in human history. People do not feel safe today because they are not safe. We hear of shooting is schools, malls, businesses, and even churches in these days. Riots are taking place in the streets of America all the time. Children are molested and murdered, the elderly are robbed, this is not a safe society we live in today. These are conditions that will prevail during the tribulation period just before the return of the Lord. Today, before the rapture of the church, we are seeing these conditions and that is an indication that we are near the rapture, near the return of the Lord. Can you think of another time in history when we have seen the violence and unrest we are seeing today? I cannot and it tells me that we are near the return of the Lord. More signs tomorrow.
