March 3rd, 2017 by Pastor SolleyRom 8:26-28 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

The ultimate aim in the Holy Spirit working in our lives, working to comfort, working to guide, working to help, is to bring the believer in Christ to the will of God. (Verse 27) All that is of God is contrary to our flesh, all that is of God faces opposition from Satan and that includes the leading and working of God in our lives day by day. Born enemies with God because of our sin nature, made children of God by the new birth, the battle does not end there. Some might even say that the battle only increases after one gets saved. Satan has lost the soul of the believer in Christ, but He then sets out to ruin the life of the believer in Christ. The Holy Spirit is there to help bring us into the perfect will of God and there are times when we don’t understand why we are going through certain things. There are times when we do not understand the circumstances of life. Why? That is a question that is often asked by saved and lost alike. Why? Because of the natural events and circumstances of life, things we all go through. Why? Because God is working to bring us to His perfect will for our lives. This pastor has learned, and is still learning, to pray because of the different circumstances of life. This pastor has learned, and is still learning, compassion because of the different circumstances of life. This pastor has learned, and is still learning, to trust in the Lord because of the different circumstance of life. Those learning experiences are seldom pleasant while they are going on, but they do work for good as they bring one to the place where he or she stands in the perfect will of God.
