February 15th, 2017 by Pastor SolleyRom 8:23-26 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Yesterday seemed like a full day. We had a funeral for one of our dear saints who went home to be with his savior, then was called to the hospital to visit a man I had never met. I was thinking as I drove home of the contrast, one had his faith and hope in the Lord rewarded, the other I have no idea what or in whom he has placed his hope. When we place our hope in the Lord it is secure and one day will be realized. We know that by the Biblical record. What if the Bible is not true you ask. That is where faith comes in my friend and faith is a lot stronger than hope. Where is your hope today? I pray by faith it is the Lord Jesus Christ who makes that hope a sure one.
