1 Thess 5:25 Brethren, pray for us.

2 Thess 3:1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

Heb 13:18 18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

As a missinary Paul knew he needed the prayers of God’s people, so he asked for them. not only did Paul ask for prayer but this is inspired Scripture as well meaning that God is asking His children to pray for missionaries. We do need to pray for our missionaries, pray for those we support with the dollar, pray for those on our prayer list. It is true that a missionary cannot get to the field God has called them to without funds but consider this, they cannot be effective on that field or stay there without prayer. Money is not enough, they need the prayers of God’s people holding them up. Money may the the easy thing to give, to pray for them will demand time on our part. Are you willing to pray for missionaries?
