Eccl 3:1-2 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

Not a happy thought to end the week on, that death is coming to all, but it is true and we know it is true because of the Bible as well as experience. I bring it up because I have a funeral to conduct this morning and I am reminded each time I have one of the truth of the Word of God. I have had funerals for babies and people in their 90’s and this one thing holds true for each and every individual, one day we will die. The most important thing is to be ready for that day. Are you? Have you been born again, have you repented from sin, have you asked Jesus Christ to save you? That and that alone makes one ready for the day of death, anything more or less than Jesus Christ leaves one headed for hell. Are you ready?
