Yesterday seemed a day of “Almost” in camp. Some young people expressed a need of salvation in their lives, yet did not step out to be saved. Now please understand they do not need to walk an aisle, do not need to talk to one of their counselors, do not need to talk to the missionary, do not need to talk to the pastor, salvation is between them and the Lord. Yet we know salvation demands action on the part of a lost soul, it demands they exercise faith, demands they believe, repent and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior. When one does that they often talk with another, get questions answered by the Bible, step out in faith in a way that can be seen. It may be that those young people were saved last night after going back to their cabins, or it could be that there remains a need of salvation. Please pray today that those who need Jesus in our camp will find Him today. That the Holy Spirit work in such a way that they repent and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior. A few minor bumps and bruises yesterday, nothing more and we thank the Lord for His protection. Please pray God continue to protect the camp and grant a good, good spirit today.
