According to the politically correct thinking of our day one is not to hate anything or anybody. We are to love and accept anything, tolerate any action, all in the name of live. This thinking has infiltrated the church as well. After all, God is love, God loves everyone, so there is not one reason any individual should hate anything or any action. Not so my friend. We find in our test that if one fears the Lord there will be many things that they hate. Listed above are the sins of evil acts, pride, arrogance, and a brash mouth. There are other things God hates as well and so should the Christian. (Prov 6:16-19 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.) I wonder in this day and age how many would have the courage to speak up against this things, or how many, knowing that they should raise a voice of opposition, just sit in silence? Don’t be afraid to speak up against the evil of our day, and to even say that you hate the sins that dominate our world. God hates those sins and so should we.
