8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

O the uttermost part of the earth, that is where the believer in Christ is to take the gospel message. The church in America certainly has done that. The missionary outreach of the local new Testament church in America has taken the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. I am not saying that all have heard the gospel, far from that, but all, one needs to do is look at the many places missionaries have been called and sent to. Africa, India, Japan, England, Sylvania, Panama, Portugal and Ireland are nations we have had and do have missionaries we support. There is a great missionary outreach from the churches in America. Yet in this we often forget one area of need, that is our nation, our communities, our own home areas. We want to take the gospel, or send it to the uttermost part of the earth, but are we willing to tell the good news of Jesus Christ here at home? I believe that the greatest need in the world at this time is right here in America. Those who have had the most light now sit in darkness and we see this all around us. The state of NC has just passed a law that an individual must use the public restroom that matches the gender of their birth. Hardly something to be up in arms about, but watch the news. What is happening in America, in the land with the most churches in the world, in the only nation of the world with an independent, fundamental, Bible church movement? We now sit in darkness and are in need to the gospel. It is good that the gospel has been sent to the uttermost part of the earth, but it should not be at the expense of our own homeland. We need to bring the gospel back to America.
