And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

Simply put this passage of Scripture contains the greatest message ever preached. (Luke 24:6-7 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, 7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.) The reason we remember the death of Jesus, the reason we are given such great deal about His death in the Bible, is that He did not remain in that grave. I had a teacher in high School who would often put a bonus question on a test such as “Who is buried in Grant’s Tomb”? It was his way of giving us a point on the test that we might need to help bolster our grade. But no one is able to ask the question “Why is buried in Jesus’ tomb” because no one is, Jesus Christ is alive today and stands at the right hand of the Father in heaven. Why is He standing there? Because He ever liveth to make intercession, He and He alone is the go between, the one able to bring a sinful man into the presence of a Holy God by washing sin away with His blood. Praise God for the greatest message ever preached.
