John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
KJV
The depth of God’s love for the world can be seen in the giving of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ into the world, “He gave His only begotten Son”. Jesus Christ is not God’s first born son, He is the second person of the Godhead, God in the flesh. God gave Himself to the world in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. And to what end? (Luke 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.) He was given to the hands of sinful men, given to a sinful world, to a world that hates and then denies Him, a world that despises His very name. That is not only the world now, it was the world then as well. Our nation, a once Christian nation, had declared open war on the name of Jesus Christ. First prayer, and then the bible taken out of the public schools in the early 60’s, we know what that has brought upon our schools. Then the rermoval of any Biblical reference in public places such as the removal of the Ten Commandments from courtyards and the like, we know what that has done to society. Now the agenda of the liberal pushing the homosexual lifestyle upon us, and we know what that is leading us to as well. Yet what is the response of God? John 3:16. God continues to love, forgive, and save all of this world who will call upon Him. Don’t ever feel as if you are not loved for you, and myself as well, are the sinful men for whom Jeus Christ came. Thry to imagine the depth of the love of God for you today and you will find it impossible to do so.
