Ps 150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
KJV
We complete our walk through the Psalms with the last chapter, a chapter of worship, praise and adoration for our Lord. One cannot read through the book of Psalms without coming to the same conclusion that the Psalmist did here, “Let every ting that hath breath praise the Lord”. Our God is a wonderful God, a loving God, a caring God, a protecting God, a providing God, a compassionate God and on and on we could go this morning. All of these things are revealed in the book of Psalms and most of them through the eyes of a man just like us. David had his weaknesses, his troubles, his failures, his victories and his strengths, David was just like us. When you are discouraged take a walk in the shoes of David in the Psalms and find an every present God there to help you. To know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior is to walk hand in hand with the God of the Psalms.
